Oh these two! It was so special to be back with this beautiful family capturing them in their home. Last time I was there was two years ago when Bhodi was 6 months, and now Rufus has joined the gang too. I couldn’t resist getting them both back in this amazing wooden moon that Colin made them..

Oh my goodness.. Chantelle and Andrew’s wedding was just beautiful It was my first time shooting a wedding at Tithe Barn at Bolton Abbey in North Yorkshire and it lived up to all my expectations. The sun shone, guests mingled outside, inside was one of the most beautiful barn set ups I’ve seen and it was just the perfect day from start to finish.

Here are a few favourites.. I hope to be back at the wonderful Tithe Barn in the future too!

Laura and Arran married on Loch Tay, up in Scotland. It was an absolutely incredible setting with atmospheric views of the loch and the surrounding hills, and a little rain didn’t stop their celebrations one tiny bit. They originally wanted to marry outside but on the day opted for a stretch tent, where they later ate, overlooking the water. Immediately after the ceremony we hopped in a car and drove around the lake grabbing a few extra photos to make the most of this beautiful place.. (big love to Laura and Arran for being so up for making the most of it despite us all getting a little soggy too!)

Holly and Chris - what a wedding! The most beautiful English country garden marquee wedding.. incredible flowers everywhere, so relaxed, and ending with a fabulous band and serious shapes thrown on the dance floor.. I loved being part of their beautiful marquee wedding, held at Holly’s parents’ house in Gloucestershire, that sunny Summer Saturday. Oh Katie and Dan! My heart is so full.

Katie and I met aged four in Primary school on our first day there. Somewhere further down the line she introduced me to Dan - a kind, intelligent and funny man that she’d already started building up a catalogue of raucous and hilarious stories together with.. They met within journalism circles through work and haven’t looked back. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for these two.

Katie and Dan, it was one of the most special days of my life being bridesmaid (can you spot me?) and documenting your incredible day.

Joanna and Scott married at Headlam Hall in County Durham. It was my first time shooting there and it didn’t disappoint. It’s a stunning setting; the building and gardens made a fabulous backdrop for photos. These two were accompanied by their beautiful children Josh and Mia as they said ‘I do’ - I love when it becomes such a family occasion and there are more than just the two of you involved in starting this next chapter..

Oh Charlotte and André! What a special day it was celebrating your wedding with you.. These two said their vows then headed up into the hill of beautiful North Yorkshire to hold their wedding reception at The Pheasant in Harome, a small village near Helmsley. There was sunshine and showers, incredible floral styling by The Wilde, ridiculously good colours.. I guess this is what happens when a wedding photographer (Charlotte!) plans the most beautiful and photogenic wedding.. (no pressure for me then, none at all…!)

What a day Saturday was! It’s been a while since I shot a wedding at Rudby Hall and it was so lovely to be back at this beautiful North Yorkshire venue (it’s also about 20 minutes from home which was a nice change after being all over the place for weddings this year!)

Bethan and Daryll had a beautiful flower-filled day and the sun shone from start to finish.. guests hung out on the grass playing garden games and were serenaded by a steel band - the perfect Summer wedding set up.

Laura and Paul planned a really relaxed and personal DIY wedding at Ingleby Greenhow Village Hall in North Yorkshire. The attention to detail and their wedding styling was just fab - loads of touches to reflect them and the things they loved.. and the whole day was about friends and family, hanging out in the sunshine and celebrating once the sun had gone down.. A perfect village hall Summer wedding.

When I Skyped Hayley and Ben ahead of their wedding they told me they were planning a central London wedding at The Asylum and then The Amadeus, there was going to be a London bus transporting guests and there would be a hell of a lot of cheese.. I knew it would be a good day and I knew it would be right up my street!

What a couple, what a setting and what a wedding! It was my first time shooting at Wylam Brewery for Ellie and James’ wedding, and it was everything I’d hoped it would be and more. I love how they mixed the industrial setting with incredible wildflowers and other details to reflect their personalities (Ellie’s Mum did the flowers and James’ Mum made the cake!) and the whole thing was a beautiful, chilled out celebration in the August sunshine.

When you mix North Yorkshire with Scotland for a wedding celebration in a field I guess it’s pretty typical that you have to throw some rain into the mix too? I heard it’s lucky for a wedding day, so there you go..

t was so lovely to see Gemma again and be part of hers and Michael’s beautiful wedding day at Hardwick Hall. The sun really shone and it was such a fabulous relaxed Summer wedding.. These two were so much fun together and it was a pleasure to be there to capture everything from Gemma laughing with her bridesmaids on the morning, the flower girls dancing in the sunshine, guests relaxing in the evening sunshine and killer dance moves when the sun went down..

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more beautiful garden than where Charlie and Ollie married.. these two said ‘I do’ at Malmesbury Abbey Gardens in Wiltshire on a warm Summers day before having fizz on the lawn and later heading to the town hall for their evening celebrations. It was a wonderful and relaxed day and such a joy to photograph - it was such a wonderful setting with a wonderful couple.

Just look at these two! I absolutely adored Mark and Lucy’s wedding style.. they had a tipi wedding in the grounds of the Hammer and Pincers pub in County Durham with gin bottles, mix tapes, custom wedding art and illustrations.. it was so personal and so perfect.

Also Lucy’s wedding outfit - I’ve never seen anything like it (amazing work from BexBrides)! A custom made, feather embellished kimono style dress with tassels and sewn in touches from her Mum’s own wedding veil.. I could have photographed her in it all day.

Welcome to the world Elsie! And congratulations to Natalie, Joel and big brother Ernie!

It was so special to meet Elsie at eleven days old and spend a few hours with the Guy family capturing them as a new family of four - she was such a little dream and Ernie is clearly going to be an absolutely wonderful and proud big brother.

It was my third time at Glastonbury, and (like I say every time..) it’s just the best place on earth. It’s a long story (that I won’t bore you with on here) but I unexpectedly ended up having a weekend free over Glastonbury weekend.. I left the date open as long as possible and then gave in and managed to get tickets fairly late in the day to join our existing ‘Glastonboro’ camping crew. It was an absolute dream.

It was so fab to be back at Middleton Lodge for Lizzie and Simon’s beautiful wedding. I love a day that is elegant and ends in a good party - such a good combination for a wedding! I’ve heard that it all ended in style down in the cellar bar at Middleton Lodge too.. It was an absolute pleasure to spend such a relaxed day with these two and their full-of-fun wedding guests - thanks again for having me as part of your celebrations!
