I work in a very unobtrusive and candid way.. I capture the majority of the day from the side lines and catch moments as they unfold. I like to know about you both, what makes you tick, and to take photographs that reflect you both and your personalities. At some point we'll do some formal shots, and we'll go for a wander for a few photographs of you both.. I love the little details that you've put together to make the day look wonderful, but I mainly love capturing people letting go, relaxing and enjoying themselves.

I live in a small town in North Yorkshire but cover the entire UK and beyond. I love shooting weddings in new places, across the country and worldwide; I enjoy travelling for work every year and love that my job takes me everywhere. Travel expenses are included within the UK.

I do! I’ve been lucky enough to travel all over the world shooting weddings over the years. Pricing for destination weddings is bespoke and it will always include two nights basic accommodation and flights/travel. Get in touch for more details.

I started my business in 2010 and built it up before going full time in 2013. I never expected that I’d work in weddings in the early days (such a big responsibility!), but once I was swept along in the joy and excitement of my first few I was completely hooked and now I can’t imagine doing anything else.

Don’t worry! So many of my couples say the same. I’m frequently told that I’m very good at making people comfortable and feel at ease while I’m working. I won't be asking you to pose for hours on end, I generally look for natural moments over staged ones. What I will do at one point in the day is take you to a few spots for some artistic portraits and gently direct you to get the most out of this time so you get some beautiful shots of yourselves.. mainly I'm looking for the relationship between you both rather than anything overly stylised.

Typically I’ll get to you around two hours before your ceremony and straight through until the evening reception. This covers getting ready shots, ceremony, any group photos, couple portraits, any speeches and the first dance/a bit of your evening reception. I love to shoot the dance floor and get those high energy shots so I always stay for a few songs after your first dance too.

My work is about people, storytelling and celebration. I work in a relaxed way - most people say I feel like a friend on the day rather than someone you've employed. If you're looking for someone to blend in and keep your guests feeling at ease whilst working in a candid and creative way to document the day then you're in the right place.
