So! I thought today would be a good day to share something that feels a little more normal before the world turned upside down and we went into lockdown.. Ashleigh and Richard’s day at the Fig House at Middleton Lodge was the last wedding that I shot in February before everything changed.. I didn't know it'd be my last wedding for a while and now I can’t help but think back to such a gorgeous day with everyone hugging and kissing and loving freely like we all hope to again soon.

Katie and Dan held an absolutely FABULOUS marquee wedding up in the North Yorkshire hills at Ingleby Greenhow. There was stunning styling, the last of the Summer sun, dancing, joy and the cocktails flowed. An absolute dream. It’s time to share their stop motion wedding film..

The sun really shone for these two.. it was one of those truly beautiful September days, the light was gorgeous, it felt like one of the last days of Summer, and everything felt so easy - just perfect. It’s finally time to share their stop motion film on the blog.. enjoy!

When I Skyped Hayley and Benji ahead of their wedding they told me they were planning a central London wedding at The Asylum and then The Amadeus, there was going to be a London bus transporting guests and there would be a hell of a lot of cheese.. I knew it would be a good day and I knew it would be right up my street!

One of my favourite parts of work is creating stop motion films.. they take an absolute age to put together, they involve processing thousands of photos, hours agonising over music choices, fiddling and adjusting and tweaking over and over again.. but when they finally come together it feels like magic - the photographs become alive; it’s a completely different way of reliving the day.

It was so fab to be back at Middleton Lodge for Lizzie and Simon’s beautiful wedding and to create this stop motion wedding film for them. I love a day that is elegant and ends in a good party - such a good combination for a wedding! I’ve heard that it all ended in style down in the cellar bar at Middleton Lodge too.. It was an absolute pleasure to spend such a relaxed day with these two and their full-of-fun wedding guests - thanks again for having me as part of your celebrations!

Laura and Arran married on Loch Tay, up in Scotland. It was an absolutely incredible setting with atmospheric views of the loch and the surrounding hills, and a little rain didn’t stop their celebrations one tiny bit. They originally wanted to marry outside but on the day opted for a stretch tent, where they later ate, overlooking the water. Immediately after the ceremony we hopped in a car and drove around the lake grabbing a few extra photos to make the most of this beautiful place.. (big love to Laura and Arran for being so up for making the most of it despite us all getting a little soggy too!)
