Eddie and Tina married 2 years ago last month (they’ve since brought beautiful Vincent William into the world - the most beautiful blue-eyed boy..) They giggled and smiled all the way through their vows, said I do, came out of the church to be covered in confetti, escaped to their transport under umbrellas during an April shower, hugged, kissed and loved everyone who came to celebrate them and then partied HARD into the night.

It was so good to be back at the beautiful Fig House on the Middleton Lodge estate in North Yorkshire for Ashleigh and Richard’s wedding. These two were joined by their wonderful girl Evangeline, who was a real whirlwind of fun all day and the fact that this day was about the three of them as a family really added something extra-special to the day.

It gives me great pleasure to finally share Hannah and Dan’s stop motion film from their fabulous wedding at The Talbot/York House in North Yorkshire last October. What a wedding..

Katie and Dan held an absolutely FABULOUS marquee wedding up in the North Yorkshire hills at Ingleby Greenhow. There was stunning styling, the last of the Summer sun, dancing, joy and the cocktails flowed. An absolute dream. It’s time to share their stop motion wedding film..

Hannah and Dan! What a laugher and fun-filled day.. my face actually hurt from smiling and laughing after your wedding!

Hannah and Dan married in Malton, saying ‘I do’ at the town centre church before walking down to the Talbot to celebrate afterwards. They held their reception in the house and then a marquee in the gardens which was styled beautiful with a mix of greenery, elegant touches and nods to Dan’s love of cricket. They danced the night away to a ceilidh (always the best idea IMO) - it was SO much fun and the perfect wedding to end my wedding season on.

It was so fab to be back at Middleton Lodge for Lizzie and Simon’s beautiful wedding and to create this stop motion wedding film for them. I love a day that is elegant and ends in a good party - such a good combination for a wedding! I’ve heard that it all ended in style down in the cellar bar at Middleton Lodge too.. It was an absolute pleasure to spend such a relaxed day with these two and their full-of-fun wedding guests - thanks again for having me as part of your celebrations!

Just look at these colours! Do I need to say much more? Alex and Andrew married at the Fig House on the MIddleton Lodge estate one beautiful September day and it was absolutely stunning. After sharing a few preview photos on my social media I had dozens of messages about Alex’s incredible ‘3D’ wedding dress - how beautiful and how absolutely perfect for the time of year and setting is it?! Their styling at the Fig House was simple and cool, lots of personal touches and fab ideas which suited the room so well.

Oh Katie and Dan! My heart is so full.

Katie and I met aged four in Primary school on our first day there. Somewhere further down the line she introduced me to Dan - a kind, intelligent and funny man that she’d already started building up a catalogue of raucous and hilarious stories together with.. They met within journalism circles through work and haven’t looked back. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for these two.

Katie and Dan, it was one of the most special days of my life being bridesmaid (can you spot me?) and documenting your incredible day.

Oh Charlotte and André! What a special day it was celebrating your wedding with you.. These two said their vows then headed up into the hill of beautiful North Yorkshire to hold their wedding reception at The Pheasant in Harome, a small village near Helmsley. There was sunshine and showers, incredible floral styling by The Wilde, ridiculously good colours.. I guess this is what happens when a wedding photographer (Charlotte!) plans the most beautiful and photogenic wedding.. (no pressure for me then, none at all…!)

What a day Saturday was! It’s been a while since I shot a wedding at Rudby Hall and it was so lovely to be back at this beautiful North Yorkshire venue (it’s also about 20 minutes from home which was a nice change after being all over the place for weddings this year!)

Bethan and Daryll had a beautiful flower-filled day and the sun shone from start to finish.. guests hung out on the grass playing garden games and were serenaded by a steel band - the perfect Summer wedding set up.

Laura and Paul planned a really relaxed and personal DIY wedding at Ingleby Greenhow Village Hall in North Yorkshire. The attention to detail and their wedding styling was just fab - loads of touches to reflect them and the things they loved.. and the whole day was about friends and family, hanging out in the sunshine and celebrating once the sun had gone down.. A perfect village hall Summer wedding.

When you mix North Yorkshire with Scotland for a wedding celebration in a field I guess it’s pretty typical that you have to throw some rain into the mix too? I heard it’s lucky for a wedding day, so there you go..

An absolutely beautiful outdoor wedding celebration for today’s ‘Magic Seven’ - I absolutely loved being part of Jenna and Tom’s Camp Katur tipi wedding in North Yorkshire. They had a personalised woodland ceremony before eating and celebrating in a nearby tipi in the grounds of Camp Katur - a glamping site which meant that guests could stay nearby after the party had finished.

“Sally has done a few of our friends weddings so as soon as our date was booked, she was my first email! On the day, she was fantastic! She fit in so well on the morning with my parents and bridesmaids and put everyone at ease.

I never felt like I was being photographed and that’s exactly what we wanted - I properly cried when we got our preview photos - they couldn’t be more perfect!”

Amy and Phil held their sunny Spring wedding at Laskill House in North Yorkshire - a stunning venue set amongst the beautiful North Yorkshire hills. The weather was ridiculously good, and these two with their guests sat in the sunshine enjoying fizz and celebrating together whilst the kids played games and blew bubbles on the lawn…

2019 wedding season has officially begun! After a few months off from shooting it felt so good to get back into the swing of weddings, and the season started with a bang with the beautiful and relaxed celebration of Caroline and Steven for their Cleveland Tontine wedding.

Liam and Lois! Where do I even begin? I’ve actually come to know these two dreamboats more and more as the years have gone on as I’ve caught up with them at various friends’ weddings that I’ve also gone on to shoot..
