One from the archives.. A rainy and rainbow-filled day.. Sara and Joey had a Liverpool city centre wedding before going on to celebrate at beautiful venue Oh Me Oh My - an old bank building near the docks and the Liver building. It was such a wonderful day and I loved being back in Liverpool and being there to capture it.. Here is their stop motion wedding film!

“Sally is SO AMAZING! She made me feel so comfortable and was such a calming, lovely person to have around when we were getting ready. She managed to capture so many wonderful spontaneous moments and nailed all the formal shots too. She was brilliant at seeming to be everywhere at the right times and she was so creative and adapted how did things depending on the situation at the time. The photos and the stop motion video summed up the vibe of our day perfectly and we couldn't love them more.”

I love a relaxed wedding so much.. it really brings it all back to what it’s all really about. Laura and Nick had a wonderfully laid back wedding at The Plough Inn in Congleton and celebrated in their barn with family and friends.

It was just the perfect day - completely relaxed, fun, full of side glances, kisses and squeezes with each other, so much laughter, and a big knees up at the end. It was an absolute dream to shoot.

Another film from the archives today.. Joanna and Neil's day was my first New Year's Eve wedding - and what a wedding it was.. They had a cool Great Gatsby-inspired celebration at private club On The 7th at Salford Quays.

“We can’t thank Sally enough for the most wonderful wedding photographs and stop-motion video, we love them so much.  We chose Sally because of her natural, documentary style photography – the thought of hours of posed photographs really didn’t appeal to us and Sally was so exactly what we were looking for.

So! 2018 has flown by at a startling rate and it’s time to ‘round up’ ahead of diving into 2019.. I’ve shot enough weddings now to know what I love about them and which moments really make me tick. I know my ‘why’ for getting into this industry in the first place, I know why I love wedding photography the most, and I know the type of shots and the moments that really make my heart sing and make me excited about each and every wedding..

Tessa and Paul and a wonderfully intimate wedding in the Coppermine Cottages near Coniston in the Lake District where they said their vows in front of immediately family and friends. The weather wasn’t what they’d hoped for (100% chance of rain and a possibility of thunder and lightening..) but these two didn’t let it dampen any spirits at all.

These two were so, so in love. Their ceremony was so emotional, and all day they started into each others' eyes like they were the luckiest people on earth. Here is there stop motion wedding film..

Last Thursday was just perfect. Jen and Dan were a fabulous and so-in-love couple, their venue was beautiful and the sun shone all day long. I was so excited to join them for their Sandhole Oak Barn wedding in Cheshire - I love a relaxed barn wedding and they had styled this beautiful venue to perfection - it was personal, elegant, slightly rustic and everything just came together perfectly.
