An absolutely beautiful outdoor wedding celebration for today’s ‘Magic Seven’ - I absolutely loved being part of Jenna and Tom’s Camp Katur tipi wedding in North Yorkshire. They had a personalised woodland ceremony before eating and celebrating in a nearby tipi in the grounds of Camp Katur - a glamping site which meant that guests could stay nearby after the party had finished.Read More
From the archives today is Cathy and Seb’s beautiful marquee wedding in Stirling in Scotland, held in the grounds at Cathy’s family home. It was personal, covered in beautiful blooms, had both a ceilidh and an amazing wedding band, and when I left at midnight I could tell that this party was going to go on until the sun came up..Read More
One very close to my heart from today’s ‘Magic Seven’ post... From a wonderful few days I spent in Italy for one of my closest friends’ weddings and I was both bridesmaid and photographer all in one (can you spot me in one of these photos?) It’s Louise and Steven’s Arpino wedding in Italy!
“Steven’s family are Italian and both of his grandparents live in the picturesque farming village of Arpino. There are lots of members of the extended family that live there so we wanted them all to be there on our wedding day. We chose Santa Maria Church because not only is it absolutely beautiful, Steven’s 92-year-old Granddad made his First Holy Communion there when he was a little boy. We are both Catholic so chose a Catholic church and ceremony.
We wanted to celebrate our marriage with the people who mean the most to us in one of the most romantic settings in the world. As we are both major foodies, good food and drink were at the top of our list of priorities for our wedding. In Italy we knew we wouldn’t be disappointed!”
“We look back on our wedding day with the happiest memories. We are blessed to have the best family and friends who travelled so far to celebrate with us. It really was the best day of our lives.”
“I thought I was going to be really nervous having my photograph taken all day but Sally was so unobtrusive. Most of the time I didn’t even know she was taking the photos! Her photographs tell the story of the day and even those who were unable to come to our wedding have said they feel like they were there having looked at the photographs. Sally was out-of-this-world amazing!”
“We had a very small wedding and Sally fit in so well with our intimate wedding. We didn’t want her to leave ever! The photos we received were worth every single penny. Our most prized possessions.”Read More
From the archives today is Kerrie and Russel’s stop motion wedding film from their beautiful outdoor wedding at Dedham Vale Vineyard in Essex. These two chose the al fresco venue for its proximity to their home, a blank canvas ready to make personal and fill with their own special touches, and most importantly, meant that their beloved dog could join them for the festivities too..Read More
