The sun actually came out for my photo session with the Wardle family! It had rained all week, but I was so excited for a window of actual sunshine to work with that Sunday morning with them all in beautiful Preston Park in Eaglescliffe. Becky had booked a family shoot for her Mum’s birthday (a pretty solid gift idea, just saying..) and we spent an hour or so wandering, letting the kids run and play, and stopping along the way to grab a few family portraits too.Read More
For a different kind of blog post today, I thought I would share some of my favourite venues that I’ve worked at, starting with our own glorious Teesside and North Yorkshire. What I love most when working is how every day is different, and I love capturing a variety of venues over the months too - from barns to grand houses and halls, outdoor weddings to village halls.. I love mixing it up and I’ve been lucky enough to shoot at some beautiful places in this little corner of the UK.Read More
Another 2018 review for you all today, but today it’s all about family shoots!
I’ve really come to love family shoots over the past few years, and I’m lucky enough to sometimes shoot the same families again and again which feels all kinds of wonderful. Sometimes it happens where I’ve shot a couples’ wedding and they go on to start a family, and I can be there to document the next chapter too!Read More
I'm excited to announce that I'll be exhibiting at Preston Park 'Party in the Park' wedding fair next week!
It's been a few months since I was displaying my work and chatting at a wedding fair, and this fair is *right' up my street.. think glasses of fizz on the lawn, a tipi, goodie bags, live music, a gin bar.. I hope to see you there!
I have the highlights from a perfectly-styled shoot today, for amazing wonder woman/head wear designer Katy from What Katy Did Next. I love her mix of metallics and botanicals, and we were lucky enough to shoot really locally to where I'm based at the beautiful Preston Park Museum and Gardens.Read More
That face! It was wonderful to spend an hour or so with Ruth, James and their little boy George. He was scrumptious.. loved playing with his toys, hugging his cuddly fox, being thrown in the air, having cuddles with Mum and Dad and eating blueberries..Read More
I joined Ev and her Mama Annabel one lovely day in Preston Park in Stockton for some family pictures - we were originally going to get baking as Annabel has recently set up her own baking business (check out Florence Bakes on Facebook for ridiculously amazing creations..) but the weather was too good to pass up on and these two babes pulled on their DMs and off we went to run around in the sunshine for an hour or so together. These two are Mum-Daughter goals. Here is a preview from our time together that day - more coming soon. <3Read More
